Guidelines for Discipline, Ethics & Professional Conduct
At Health City Institute of Nursing & Paramedical Sciences, every student is expected to follow the code of conduct to ensure a respectful, safe, and academically enriching environment.
- All students must carry their valid Identity Card at all times.
- Students are required to wear the official uniform provided by the institution.
- Maintain silence and decorum in classrooms, libraries, reading rooms, labs, and corridors.
- Treat college and hospital property with care. Vandalism or defacement of property is strictly prohibited.
- Scribbling on walls, desks, or blackboards is considered a punishable offense.
- Boys must maintain a short haircut at all times. Long hair is not permitted.
- Students are expected to maintain personal hygiene and professional grooming appropriate for a medical environment.
- In case of illness or emergency leave, students must obtain prior permission from the Principal.
- For leaving the campus mid-day, students must submit a written request from parents or guardians and get approval from the class coordinator.
- Ethical behavior is expected both within and outside the campus.
- Students must not accept gifts or gratuities from patients or their families under any circumstances.
- Ragging is strictly prohibited in the campus and hostels.
- Any involvement in ragging will result in immediate expulsion and legal action as per anti-ragging laws.
- Students must maintain a cordial and respectful relationship with peers and juniors.
- Students are responsible for the safe use and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Any willful damage or negligence will require replacement by the student.
- Lights and fans must be switched off before leaving classrooms or hostel rooms. Failure to do so may result in a fine.
- Misconduct, disobedience, or damage to the institute’s reputation may lead to suspension or expulsion.
- Students discontinuing the course must clear all dues for the remaining duration.
- All students are expected to help keep the campus clean, green, and litter-free.
