Dr. Bhaba Das Foundation
Dr.Bhaba Das Foundation was formed and registered on 8th April, 2017 under the Indian Trusts Act 1882, established by Dr. Bhabananda Das. The registered trustee members of Dr. Bhaba Das Foundation are Dr. Banashree Das and Dr. Gokul Ch. Das. The foundation is a public charitable trust.
Objectives
- It is primarily focusing on providing financial assistance to the deserving persons for medical treatment, including free cardiac surgery for underprivileged children with Congenital Heart Defect (under 14 years).
- In the academic field, the trust comes forward to help the underprivileged section of the society in the North Eastern Region in the field of education, medical education, nursing education, and training in scientific research & development.
- Giving financial assistance to orphanages, overall development of medical infrastructure, and public health.
- Also organising Flood Relief Camps and giving a helping hand to the flood-affected areas in Assam over the period of time.
